Specialising in film and literary events, Bridget has hosted events for the London Book & Screen Week, author Q&As at Waterstones stores and exclusive film screenings, such as The Girl on the Train, starring Emily Blunt for EntertainmentOne.

Other events include a discussion about fashion journalism at the London Fashion and Textiles Museum, Q&As with author and filmmaker Shamim Sarif at Waterstones and Hackney Picturehouse, the 2015 London Spanish Film Festival, Searcys Presents Women Winning Their Way evening, and the University of Leicester's Women of Influence lunch.

The Beaumont Hotel Literary Series

 

The Beaumont Hotel hosts a series of literary evenings, bringing together the world’s best and brightest non-fiction writers to read from their latest works. With every hotel bedroom brimming with hard-bound books and a private dining room named after The Lotos Club in New York—one of the oldest literary clubs in the United States—The Beaumont Hotel is a fitting host for this celebration of authors and writing. Past authors include Nicholas Coleridge, Sir Simon Jenkins, Emma Soames, Georgia Pritchett, Melvyn Bragg, and Justine Picardie among many others.

 

The Bvlgari Breakthrough Women in Film Series

 

Bvlgari Hotel London is set to launch it’s fifth Breakthrough Women in Film Series, championing up-and-coming female filmmakers and female-driven storylines. Celebrating the most exciting new talent in filmmaking, each screening is followed by a live Q&A with the director, or leading member of the cast. Guests will therefore have the opportunity to watch a world-class pre-release film, as well as having intimate access to the backstory of each project. Past filmmakers involved in the series include, BAFTA-nominated Harry Wootliff, Lorna Tucker, Quinn Shephard, and Céline Sciamma.

 

Fairmont Loves Film

 

The Savoy, a Fairmont-managed hotel, celebrated the best of film in London with the second instalment of Fairmont Loves Film. In addition to welcoming Fairmont Loves Film ambassador, Gia Coppola, and director, Cuba Tornado Scott, the Savoy hosted UK film industry experts, Jason Isaacs, Lorna Tucker, and Stella Fox. The event was moderated by Bridget Arsenault, discussing how locations continue to inspire the art of filmmaking.
